Strides for Sarcoma is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization with the goal to raise research funding and awareness for sarcoma, a cancer of the bone and connective tissue. We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by sarcoma. We believe with your help we can get one step closer to finding a cure!
Our Why
Strides for Sarcoma was born from our family’s journey. Our 9-year-old cousin, Maia, bravely fought Ewing’s sarcoma, and through her life and strength we witnessed firsthand how devastating, isolating, and deeply unfair this disease is.
Sarcoma affects people of all ages, yet it remains rare, aggressive, and critically underfunded. Too many patients face limited treatment options and overwhelming challenges.
That’s why we exist: to honor Maia’s legacy by walking alongside sarcoma fighters and their families through care packages, community support, and awareness efforts — while also funding the critical research needed for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
This is our why — every fighter, every family, every stride forward, and the beautiful life that continues to inspire us.
